Why Pakistan blames everything on US policies?

Pakistani President Zardari has just finished his private visit to India to pay his respects at the dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer, but Medias on both sides of the border are trying to get the most out of this visit to raise their viewers’ ratings.

I just saw the interview of one of a well-known Pakistani journalist, Hamid Mir, on one of the news channels in India covering this visit. When its anchorwoman asked him whether it was not true that Pak Army & ISI clandestinely support Hafiz Muhammad Saeed as an anti-Indian asset, instead of answering in a 'YES' or a 'NO', he used a standard ruse of blaming all on USA which most Pakistani politicians & journalists use! "It was CIA that had started helping terrorists (aka mujahedeen) during Russian occupation of Afghanistan.” He said!

I was flabbergasted! Why should such an eminent journalist use CIA as his shield? Reagan might have goaded Zia, but why did Zia allowed it? And if Zia got goaded (as did Musharraf some thirty years later), why blame the USA? Why should Pakistan downgrade itself into a mercenary state to fight others' wars for money with no prick of conscience? Actually this eminent journalist should have used this opportunity to explain this to Pakistani people.

It is time Pakistan refuses American aid & stands on its own feet and behaves like a true sovereign nation. I sincerely hope the Pakistani political leadership realizes this, orders its Army to the barracks, limits the actions of its fanatic religious elements only to the religious matters within their masjids & seminaries and shows the courage to stand up to Military bullies to rule their country democratically to serve Pakistan's interests leading to prosperity & betterment of its people.

Most of Indians await this development with fervent hope & I am sure India will help Pakistan to India's limits as we two are “natural friends”!

I also wish President Zardari had donated his 5 crore rupees for the betterment of his flood-affected people of Sindh who got hit by record floods for two consecutive years and are crying for help.
